Fall Flower Arrangement

I seem to have gotten a taste for making life like flowers 😊 and in the Maison Gregoria FB Group, I found a month challenge and entered this:

All of these flowers are from Maison Gregoria's Etsy shop and in the following I will tell a little about each of them

First of the Dahlia Bicolor

Sadly the light in my home isn't the greatest this time of year so it's kinda hard to see that the center of the flower is a tad darker than the rest of the flower. I made this from AC Cardstock it two shades of light pink and added a bit of Distress Ink to the petals.

Here's another color:

Next is the Straw Flower

This flower is also made from AC Cardstock but the center is made from Majestic Pearl Paper (as it's a lot easier to cut these intricate fringes)

The flower isn't very big but a wonderful filler flower.

Then there's the Double Gerbera

Again this is a flower with an intricate center so I cut the inner part in Majestic Pearl Paper in Dark Brown and the outer part in a Pink Printer Paper (160 gsm) and inked the tips with Distress Ink in Pink. The outer petals are cut from a Light Pink AC Cardstock.

A very easy flower to make 😊

Here's the Spider Gerbera:

This is also a very easy flower to make and as the Double Gerbera, it has an intricate center so I cut it with Dark Brown Majestic Pearl Paper and a Yellow printer paper (160 gsm) and inked the tips with an Orange Distress Ink.

Here's one in Yellow:

Then there's the Chrysanthemum:

This flower is entirely made from AC Cardstock (except the paper ball in the middle and the stem....read the instructions that comes with the flowers)

There's really nothing difficult about making this flower but it's very time consuming due to all the shaping of the petals.

Here's one in purple:

There is also the Rudbeckia Autumn Sunset Flower:

This beauty is made from AC Cardstock in Yellow and Brown and inked with Distress Ink on the petals for shading. The center is a half paperball that I painted with Watercolor.

So so beautiful and not that hard to make.

Here's the other one:

On this picture you can also see a bit of the Rowan Ash Tree Branch or at least some of the berries which I made using paper balls with a diameter of 10 mm and coloring them with watercolor and rubbing them with a tiny bit of Prima Metallic Wax. The leaves are colored with watercolor as well.

Finally there's the Milk Jug:

I found this one from Creatieve Papier Uitspattigen but unfortunately she closed her shop today so it is no longer available 😢

It's made from AC Cardstock in a Teal color and the panels are made from Print and Cut with a gorgeous Watercolor motive designed by Little Luxuries Loft and is found in the Silhouette Design Store design ID #331720.

I embossed the panels on the bottom of the Jug with a crackle Embossing Folder from Darice.

There you have it - MAN! It took me quite a while to make these but I had fun and was challenged a the same time.

What do you think? Tell me all about it in a comment below
