Round(ish) Canisters......and a Milk Can

Happy Mother's Day 🌹..... to all that celebrate.

Unfortunately I don't have my Mother with me this year as she passed away last October but I'm sending her a loving thought today and think of some of the happy times we had.

This is just a quick little post today, as I wanted to show you the cute Canisters from Simply Crafty SVGs that I made this weekend.

I always seem to lack small canisters/boxes for small presents, so these will be more than perfect for this.

First of is the Retro Canister:

This is a very fun canister to make due to the design which gives the lid a faceted look. And it's very easy to make.

I used AC Cardstock and patterned paper from Graphic 45's Dreamland collection.

I found some Prima Flowers to match in my ginormous flower stash and added a little bling to them and the lid for a bit of sparkle.

All edges are inked with Distress Ink.

It reminds me of a canister for cotton pads somehow but I bet the receiver is going to love some sweets instead 😉

This is the version with windows and I imagined it being used for some of all the sea shells we collect, when going to the beach.

That is why I used Graphic 45's Ocean Blue collection along with AC Cardstock in matching colors.

I also made a canister without windows:

I used Graphic 45's Bird Watcher collection for this and found some flowers to match the lid. Mainly because the collection is really colorful and I wanted a bit more color to this one.

Finally I made the cute Milk Can....again.

I really wanted to make this one with the awesome paper from Graphic 45's Farmhouse collection but I think I went a little overboard with the flowers 😉

I imagine this is to be used for some dairy bon-bons or the like.

Now to enjoy the rest of the Sunday. We're having gorgeous weather today and chances are we get some thunder tonight, but we'll have to wait and see. Usually this early in the year, it's too cold for a good storm.

Thank you for visiting - hope to see you again soon

💜
