Teacher Appreciation

 I made this set some time ago. The weather hasn't been my best friend, so I couldn't shoot any pictures until yesterday. *SIGH* That's Autumn in Denmark for you. Mostly dark, windy and rainy but it also has a beautiful side and it shows every once in a while. 

I originally made these for my desk, as I was in need for something to hold my color pencils and other nick nacks but I just found out that today is actually Teacher Appreciation Day many places in the world, so what better way to celebrate than this? Unfortunately we don't celebrate this day in Denmark but I really think we should. Teachers need to know what a great work they do with our kids - many of them go way beyond for them. That needs a big THANK YOU. Some of my son's teachers really went the extra mile for him and helped him cope being in a "normal" class even though he has ADHD and Autism. That deserves recognition and appreciation 💜 Oh I could go on.....

These boxes are all from Simply Crafty SVGs and are so cute and very useful - at home or in school (Even at the office 😉) I used Doodlebug Design Paper (an oldie with a school them - I forgot the name 🙈) 

They are very easy to make and assemble and because of this, it would be a walk in the park to make a bunch of them, fill them with sweets, gift cards or the like and gift them to your favorite teachers.

Here goes:

Push Pin Box:

Starting with the most ingenious design. I really love this one. Would work as a gift box for so many fun occasions. Brilliant design <3 

Next is the 3D Crayon Boxes:

I made the large one as large as I could to be able to hold my color pencils. The small one would be perfect for actual Crayons :-)

Finally the Petite Pencil Box:

I made mine to hold my erasers but you can put all kinds of fun things in there and use it as a thank you gift.

I think I'm going to donate these to the local school for their library or maybe to the local library. I think lots of peeps would get a kick out of these. Next time I will make several and give some to my son's current teachers as a thank you gift. They deserve it too.
